Before I get into this week’s Tuesday Tidbit, several people asked for more information about the CEO/Executive Peer Groups I mentioned last week.

If you’re interested in learning more about these incredible peer groups, feel free to reach out by sending me an email.

If there’s anything I’ve learned over the past 14 years, it’s that it can be lonely at the top. So there is nothing more valuable than joining other results-orientated executives from diverse, non-competitive industries to collectively solve your toughest challenges and maximize your key opportunities.

Let’s get into the Tuesday Tidbit…

I was at a BBQ this weekend, and someone mentioned a local business. I was surprised that nearly every single person had a poor experience with the business. On top of that, everybody knew at least a handful of other people who also had nothing positive to say. Nearly everyone said they tried and tried again but were done with that company.

When I visited that company’s website, I found the typical messaging of:  “we pride ourselves on a “wow” experience.”

People were “wow’ed” all right, but none of it was positive.

In this week’s video, I want you to consider a few key questions.

When was the last time you audited the performance of your customer-facing people to see how closely their behaviour matches what you say about your business and who you claim to be?

Would you know if your customers were talking this poorly about you!?

Does who you claim to be, match your customer’s reality!?
