I’m a big Seth Godin fan.
Years back I emailed Seth after reading a blog post of his and he actually replied, with a pretty awesome and in-depth answer. I can’t remember now what the question or email was about but I do remember him actually replying and that struck me as pretty cool. EDIT: I [...]

A quick example of a 1,000% increase in profit
“According to the August 2007 edition of Target Marketing Magazine, “…research indicates that the average conversion rate - that is the ratio of orders to overall site visits - is 2.9 percent.
Since this research didn’t include smaller online marketers, I suspect that the actual average is lower [...]

Part 2 – Outsourcing Saved Me $8040 In One Day
Yesterday I mentioned how I was beginning a small experiment on outsourcing. As I had said in my first post, I’ve been outsourcing a large majority of my work for years but I’ve been doing it privately through sites like Rentacoder.com and elance.com
After reading the 4-Hour [...]

Last week while on a vacation I got a chance to read “The 4 Hour Work Week.” I’d been hearing so much about this book that when I saw it in Bancroft, Ontario (of all places) I picked it up.
I got back to the cottage and dove right into it. I immediately became a big [...]

About a week ago, on a forum I regularly visit and participate at, one post last week really just rubbed me the wrong way. I won’t get back into who or what was said but it essentially made the point that what mattered was not, who was on the other end of the computer, but [...]

She writes for tip # 22..
Work smarter hours, not longer hours. [...]

Remember my post a few weeks back? This one here?

A good friend and member of mine Dane Morgan has given away a stellar idea. He says, how about a community where people can engage and discuss lyrics to music. You can see a blurb from his post below or visit his site using the [...]

I just read this post by Seth Godin. It got me thinking about branding and more specifically, the power of television advertising as a branding tool. Seth points out that Tabasco is a brand we all know very well. I have a bottle of Tabasco and when I run out, I’ll go buy another.
I noticed [...]
